Ultra Mushrooms thrive under strong LED lighting with moderate flow. Maintain highly alkaline water from 8.3-8.5 pH and calcium around 450-500 ppm. Perform weekly 5-10% water changes and test alkalinity, magnesium, nitrates, and phosphates regularly.

Target levels should be: carbonate alkalinity 8-12 dKH, magnesium 1350-1500 ppm, nitrates <5 ppm, phosphates <0.02 ppm. Feed meaty foods like mysis shrimp along with microplankton.
